Message from Adam Murphy re resignation

Dear Members
Just by way of explanation, and with the experience of the extraordinarily fertile imaginations out there in the Gigha rumor mill: I had a meeting with my editor at the beginning of last week and I immediately realised that I would not be able to maintain even a skeleton commitment to the Trust while getting all my work done this year. This is good news for me and my family, as we do have an ongoing need to eat. However, I am very sorry that I have not been able to stay on as Chair to see through some of the work that I have started. I remain very commited to this community and to the Community Ownership experiment that it represents, and wish to express my gratitude to all of the staff, my fellow Directors, and to all of you who have offered support, challenge and have generally made this a rewarding experience.
